Annulment Forms

When one party of a couple decides to file for an annulment, they can do so either by hiring an attorney, or by searching for and filling out the annulment forms offered by the family court system. Annulment is allowed within each state subject to a set of rules or guidelines in which the marriage must meet for approval by the family courts. Because each state has a different set of regulations, couples should ensure that they are printing and filling out annulment forms for their respective state of residence. When an annulment is granted for a couple, in essence the marriage is nullified, removed from record and as if it never occurred. In most cases, the length of the marriage is not considered when determining if annulment is an option. One annulment form which is helpful for couples considering this option is a questionnaire, typically offered online. This type of questionnaire will not only outline what is required to apply for annulment, but also offers great information for the individual or couple considering applying.
