Millions of kids go through their parent's divorces each year! While parents often focus on their needs during a divorce, children are also affected. Here are some tips to help children cope with divorce include: Help kids to express their thoughts and feelings by listening; Acknowledge their feelings; Stay involved in their lives; Stay away from blaming the other parent; Take care of yourself so you can be there for your child; Address red flags which become noticeable in your children immediately to avoid more serious developmental issues.
