Divorces

Divorces are common in today's society, more so than in the past. A divorce puts an end to all legal ties associated with all aspects of the marriage. Property will be divided amongst the parties who are involved. If children are involved, child custody will be determined and, more than likely, one spouse will have to pay child support. Divorce laws govern all aspects of a divorce. They help to make sure that everything is equal and fair to an extent. It is up to the courts to decide on what is equal and fair and what is in the best interest of the child. Divorces are as common today as marriage is it seems. In some cases, we actually see a higher divorce rate than marriage rate for a particular year or jurisdiction.
