Visitation rights, when in the context of divorce laws, are those rights held by either parent to see their biological children following a divorce. In some cases, both parent may be denied custody, but allow visitation rights. In other cases, one parent may be denied custody, but allowed visitation rights by the courts with their children, which the other spouse must agree to respect.
