Often in divorce children are the ones who hurt the most. It is usually because their parents are hostile toward each other, and because the children do not understand divorce. The best way to make it easy on the children is to be amicable toward each other and compromise about custody and visitation of the children. Also, when dealing with property make sure and compromise for the children on who will get the house, and let the children still live there and attend the same schools because a network of friends can help children cope with the drastic changes taking place in their lives.
