I am getting a divorce, and I think my husband will have to pay alimony since he makes a lot of money and I stayed home with the kids. How long will he have to pay alimony?

That will depend on your age and the court’s ruling of if you can find a career that you will be able to support yourself with. Of course if you do not receive your desired outcome in the first alimony judgment then you can appeal. Also if your circumstances change, then the length and amount can be changed by the court. The first thing you should do is consult with a divorce attorney in your area if you have not already done so.
