Kate Says that TLC TV Show Did Not Cause Divorce

In her first interview since she announced her divorce from Jon Gosselin, Kate Gosselin has said that she does not regret starring on the hit TLC show “Jon and Kate Plus 8” with her eight children.

The divorce between the couple has been one of the most high profile in recent months because of the popularity of the show, which had been running since the children were born three years ago. Kate was criticized by her brother and sister-in-law for choosing to put the children on the show for so long and for “exploiting” them.

However, Kate has said that she made a sacrifice that she feels was in the children’s best interest. She said that all eight children have significant college funds because of the money that the family was paid to do the show. She also does not believe that the show caused her divorce, saying that it would have happened regardless.
