Benefit of Man Having Full Custody

If you are undergoing a divorce, you may wonder about the benefit of man having full custody of his children.

Benefits of Man Having Full Custody

Full or sole custody (as it is called in many states) is something that a court determines if the two parents cannot agree and/or if the child or children are too young to make a decision.  The basis for determining who gets custody is always going to focus on what is in the best interest of the child,  not to mention who the best person to raise the child is.  Many people would go as far as to say that there is no benefit of man having full custody, as children may be better off with both parents.  Still, the benefit of custody for either parent can be priceless.  If you are a father and you do not have custody of you children, then you are missing out on the greatest moments of their lives.

One of the benefits of a father having full custody of his children is that if by chance, the mother is unfit, then a father’s mind will be at ease as long as he knows that his children are in a safe haven with him. Having full custody of your children would also mean that you do not have to deal with unnecessary court issues. Children can benefit from having a strong father figure, and fathers can benefit by having their children around full time and seeing their children grow up.

To get full custody, you must prove that you are the better parent.  Just as when a woman goes to court to fight for her children, if a man does the same thing, it might show that he is a reliable parent determined to do what is right for his children

Contrary to popular belief, seeking full custody is not a war game.  It is always about what is absolutely best for the children involved.  So if you are simply trying to get full custody as a means of retaliation against your ex-wife, then you probably should not seek custody at all.  This is a crucial point to realize and as a father, you will need to be focused solely on what is best for your children.
